Quickly search for songs you care about with the new function "music recognition" of iOS 14
If you don't know what song you're interested in, use Music Recognition!
If you want to know the titles and singers of the songs that are playing in restaurants and around town, try using the new iOS 14 feature "Music Recognition". Shazam is a company acquired by Apple in 2018. From iOS 14.2, the function of the music recognition application "Shazam" has been implemented, and it can be used without downloading the application.
You can use the Shazam app on iOS 14.2 or earlier, but you can search for song titles and singers with one tap from the control center without downloading the app. If you don't have the Shazam app installed, the search results will be displayed in "Safari", so it's very easy.
To check using the Control Center, go to Settings → "Control Center" and tap the "+" icon displayed to the left of the "Music Recognition" item. Go back to your home screen and open the Control Center and you'll find the Shazam icon added. A notification will be displayed when you listen to a song, so you can listen to it on the streaming service "Apple Music" or purchase it on iTunes from the search results.
The Shazam app is free to download and use from the control center, but if you listen to or purchase songs from other services, you may be charged separately. Just keep that point in your head.
