10-core "Core i9-10900K" tested with TSUKUMO's gaming PC, all cores exceed 5 GHz
Core i9-10900K Processor
Core i9-10900K is the top of Comet Lake-S, and the number of cores has increased by two from "Core i9-9900K", which is the same position in the previous generation Coffee Lake-S, to 10 cores. Both base/boost clocks have been raised. Along with that, the TDP is also set higher from 95W to 125W.
The operation during boosting has also been modified, with high clock operation of some cores by "Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0", and if there is room for CPU temperature and power, single and all cores can be operated at high clocks. It is newly equipped with "Thermal Velocity Boost".
In the case of Core i9-10900K, the maximum clock of Turbo Boost Max 3.0 is 5.2GHz, but when Thermal Velocity Boost is enabled, it rises to 5.3GHz for single core and 4.9GHz for all cores.
