[Q] Wi-Fi sometimes disconnects momentarily
Changing the Wi-Fi Channel
If you continue to use the 2.4GHz band, try switching the channel you are using.
The 2.4GHz band used by Wi-Fi generally uses one of 13 channels.
Many Wi-Fi routers allow you to specify the channel to use on the setting screen, so let's specify a different channel and see how it goes. Also, it may have a function to automatically select a channel with good signal conditions, so let's take advantage of such a function.
Wi-Fi router "Aterm WX6000HP" setting screen. Changing the channel to use in the 2.4GHz band settings. In addition, the Aterm WX6000HP has an "auto channel select function" that automatically selects a channel. When the Wi-Fi router is activated or during operation, it checks the surrounding radio wave conditions and automatically selects a channel with good radio wave conditions. SelectIf the Wi-Fi is interrupted even though you are not using a microwave oven or Bluetooth device, it may be that the radio waves of the nearby Wi-Fi access points are interfering.
In that case, if you are using the 2.4GHz band, switch to the 5GHz band, or if the radio waves are interrupted even when using the 5GHz band, change the channel to be used in the same way as the 2.4GHz band. is the basic countermeasure.
