Is the insurance industry slow digitization?Explore the current status of working styles transformed by corona and tips for new customers
コロナ禍では対面での営業や取引、契約が困難になり、その代替としてオンラインでの非対面取引に顧客の関心が集まった。対面取引を主流としていた保険業界は今後、どのようにビジネスを展開し、どんな働き方をすべきなのか。前編に続き、justInCaseの代表取締役である畑 加寿也氏（モデレーター）、名案企画の代表取締役であり、公的保険アドバイザー協会の代表理事である𡈽川 尚己氏、SEIMEIのCEO、Founderである津崎 桂一氏、日本生命保険の総合企画部 イノベーションdevelopment室の課長である関 正之氏、あいおいニッセイ同和損害保険の商品企画部 次世代商品R＆D室の室長（当時） 若狭 弘幸氏が語った。

※本記事は、FINOLABが2020年6月に開催した「第18回 InsurTech Startup Meetup」での講演内容を基に再構成したものです。一部の内容は現在と異なる場合があります。前編はこちら（この記事は後編です） ＜目次＞名案企画の𡈽川氏は「保険といえば、どうしても募集の部分にフォーカスが当たるが、今後はそれも変わっていくのではないか」と問題を提起する。お客さまのニーズが「何か起きたときに役立つ保険」から、「何かが起きないようにする保険」のサービスに移行していくためだと指摘する。 同氏によると、すでに生命保険会社では病気予防関連のサービスを提供しており、損保保険会社ではIoT（モノのインターネット）を活用した予防サービスを提供している。そうしたコンサルティングが今後、広い意味での保険サービスになっていくという。 その上で、𡈽川氏は「保険募集人」という言葉は本当に適切なのかという話もあるとした。「今までの保険は、アクシデント以降の金銭的なリスクヘッジという役割が強かったのでは。今後はアクシデントが起きる前からサービスを提供することになります。アクシデントを100％なくすことは難しく、ビフォアからアフターまでの長いスパンでサポートすることを考えると、現在の募集に割いている人員がサポートサービスに移行していくことは十分考えられるでしょう」（𡈽川氏） また、「インシュアテック的なサービスとのコラボレーションがあるだろう」と付け加えた。一般的には「データドリブン」とも呼ばれるが、𡈽川氏はあえて「ヒューマンドリブン」でデータがサポートするという位置関係になると説明した。モデレーターを務めるjustInCaseの畑氏は、保健代理店にヒアリングした際、「募集人でもオンラインの面談や募集にすぐ適応できる人が多いという印象を受けた」と述べた。そしてライフネット生命保険などがオンラインサービス事業を開始してから十数年が経つが、どういった人がオンライン取引や相談を利用するケースが多いかを尋ねた。 𡈽川氏は「ライフネット生命保険が出てきた時期と今回とで明らかに違うのは、全員が同じようなITや環境下に置かれていること」と回答した。ライフネット生命保険の創業者である出口 治明氏も「今回のコロナの影響により起きたいいことがあったとすれば、国民のITリテラシーが一気に上がったことが1つにある」と話しているという。 この発言は、主にホワイトカラーを指しているが、強制的にリモートワークを実施したことで新しい生活様式を取り入れている現状を指摘している。 「現在は、顧客に対する教育コストがかからない状況にある。もちろんオンラインを使わない人も一定数いると思うが、これから新しい生活様式が始まると考えるとオンラインが広く使われることは間違いない。だからこそ、実際に会う、職場に集うといったことの再定義をすべきタイミングである」（𡈽川氏）の見解を示した。続いて、畑氏は「働き方には大きな変化はあったのか。あるいは、もう過渡期は終わって安定しているのか」をパネリストたちに尋ねた。 SEIMEIの津崎氏は、自身はリモートワークへの移行によって、自社の従業員とは4カ月ほど会っていないという。また畑氏も「自社は基本的にリモートワークであるが、週に1回くらいはチームごとに5～6人で出社するようにしようと考えている」とそれぞれ回答した。 津崎氏は日本生命保険の関氏に対して「日本生命は個人情報などを社外に持ち出せないことから、リモートワークできない」という声を聞いたことを明かし、実際の状況を尋ねた。関氏は「悪い意味ではなく、日本生命はcomplianceや法令対応を含めてコンサバティブな判断をする会社であることは否定できない」としながらも、「リモートワークに消極的という訳ではない」と答えた。 関氏は「保険会社や金融機関の場合、業務の内容によって顧客情報やセンシティブな情報を取扱うため、できる限りセキュアな環境が必要になり、結果としてリモートが進まない。そういった業務の人たちを含めて出勤率が高くなってしまう」との現状を語った。 その上で「日本生命でも一時的にでも、ほぼすべての従業員がリモートワークを経験した。いわば強制的に経験した中で、価値を感じた職員は今後もリモートワークを望むだろうし、逆に何も価値を感じない人間はこれまで通りに戻る、ということだと思う」とした。 さらに関氏自身も「私は会社に行かなくても普通に仕事ができるようになってしまったので、逆に意味がなければ出社しない方向に振り切った人間。こういう人間も日本生命の中にはいる」と説明。リモートワーク継続を指示する経営層もおり「今後、多様な働き方が受容されない会社は生き残れない、というのは当社でも共通の認識」との考えを示した。【次ページ】アナログからデジタルに転換するポイントとはRecommended article
