The new work for the first time in 27 years is a series of 101 points

The highlight of this exhibition is the first new work in 27 years, ZOKU-SHINGO Small Robot Singo Museum.This is not a manga, but a work made of 101 series of paintings, copied a pencil, and colored it with acrylic paint.It is a masterpiece completed in four years.

The picture of each piece is accompanied by a title and a brief explanation, and a number from 1 to 101 is shaken.The odd number of 101 sheets, not 100 pieces of good drills, showed the feeling of the future that will continue to go ahead.85 years old, and I am down to that endless creative motivation.

Another highlight of this exhibition is the installation of Umezu's work by three contemporary artists.

The art unit "Exonimo" by Kenzuke Senbo and Yae Akaiwa expresses the world of "I am Shingo" in a video installation.The 12 monitors with different sizes show the scene of "I am Shingo", and is on display as if it were a manga frame.Underneath the used cable mountain, a red school bag in one corner.From the school bag, you can hear Showa Kayo in the 70's.

Both the school bag and the Showa Kayo in the 1970s are icons quoted from "I am Shingo", but it is also a very difficult exhibition that the Tokyo Tower, which is an important stage in the work, can be seen behind.

鴻池朋子×『14歳』

Tomoko Konoike has developed a group of works "Kazuo 14 years old" with the theme of "14 years old".She is not an expression expressed in the story, but has tried an approach to Kazuo Umezu as an artist, such as desires and excessive nature.

This work, which is composed of multiple works, tells you that Konoike faces Umezu's work.The main character of "14 -year -old", Chicken George, began drawing, "If you were a woman," following a large drawing work drawn imagined with a 14 -year -old Umezu, and symbolized in Umezu's work.Produced an emergency staircase object, a pendulum that made the face of the cockroach character "Gokin's Teacher" that appears at the end of "14 years old".

On the entire window glass, "14 -year -old left -handed etude", which picked up words and lines that Konosu was worried about from "14 years old", and wrote it on the manuscript paper.Writing on the left hand, which is not a dominant hand, created a sense of incongruity, and each word looked more prominent.

The end of the exhibition is also very impressive.The 18th last scene of "14 years old" was lined up entitled "To the Future".
