Microsoft reveals how to bypass TPM 2.0 check and install Windows 11
Microsoft has disclosed a way to install the OS on systems that do not have the Windows 11 requirement "TPM 2.0."
Windows 11 was developed based on Windows 10, except that it requires TPM 2.0 as an essential requirement, which makes it impossible to install Windows 11 on older generation CPUs. On the net, a method to circumvent this specification and install Windows 11 on non-compliant systems has been released, but this time Microsoft itself has released the official method.
However, although checking TPM 2.0 and the installed CPU of the system can be avoided, TPM 1.2 is required even when using this method. Also, the fact that Windows 11 is required for TPM 2.0 has not changed, Microsoft does not recommend installing Windows 11 by this method, and if you install Windows 11 on a non-compliant system, please update Windows 11 in the future. It may not be available. This method should not be used except for special verification purposes.
The actual installation method is to change "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ Setup \ MoSetup"-> "AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU"-> "REG_DWORD" to "1" in the registry editor, and then create "Windows 11 installation media" from the Windows 11 download page. Select "Yes" to perform an upgrade or a clean installation.
