Six points to check with the latest update of Windows 10 "20H2"
October is the author's favorite month, but this year's Halloween party can only be done in an animal forest, so if you think it's going to be boring, isn't there a big event called Windows 10 version 20H2?
This is not a large -scale update full of features, but there are some new settings and functions worth checking. That's enough!
Microsoft has made it on and off with many of these changes.Even if it is not possible to turn off, there is a creative approach that can reproduce the Windows 10 experiences that I liked in the past.
In this article, we will look at the remarkable changes of 20H20.It would have been nice if it was released on Tuesday, October 13, but it's a patch tousan day.
I will also explain how to re -adjust the change of Microsoft and create an ideal Windows 10 experience for me.
There are precautions.Windows10 20h2 is an optional update program (at present), so when anyone can use Windows 10 20h2, a specific callout is displayed on Windows Update.
This cannot be obtained by the normal "Update" button.
The link to the optional update can be confirmed from the "detailed options" scrolling below, so you will not miss it.
Did you find it?Let's look at the functions.

1.Return the settings of Alt + Tab key
I always open a lot of tabs on the Edge Chromium browser.
And in Windows 10 version 20H2, switching the window using Alt-Tab is increasingly confused. The open browser tab is displayed as a separate application.
It may be convenient, but it will only be complicated for users who can not cut off the browser meat.
At least, when you switch the app, you just want to go to the app itself, not multiple pages opened in that app.
To correct this, go to "Settings> System> Multitask" and scroll down until the "Alt + Tab" key is displayed.
Change the settings from the default "Open the window and the latest tabs in Edge" to your taste.
Of course, I chose "Open only the window".I really like this.
2.Enable intensive mode notification again
Previously, Windows 10 told me when the notification was blocked as a result of setting "concentrated mode".
To do so, you have to issue a notification (of course).
After Windows 10 version 20H2, such intensive mode notifications are gone, but it is not permanent.
By default, Windows 10 does not disturb users when they do not disturb users. This can be set simply by searching for "concentrated mode" in the start menu of Windows 10.
For some reason, scroll down until the Microsoft change is restored until the "automatic rule" is displayed.
Click on one of them (ideally, those that can trigger the concentrated mode) and the option to "display notification to the action center when the concentrated mode is automatically turned on".Enable.
The processing of other automatic rules that triggers intensive mode is repeated as needed.
3.Fix the website to the taskbar with Microsoft Edge
This feature is not new, but in Windows 10 version 20H2 is fine -tuned.
As you may not know, if you are using the Chromium version of Microsoft Edge (there is no reason not to use), you can fix the frequently used sites to Windows 10 taskbar.
Display the site, click the three -point icon in the upper right corner of the Microsoft Edge, put the cursor on the other tool, and click "Fix to the taskbar".You can also change the name of the site to be fixed.
Click "Fixed" to display it in the taskbar. With this, every time you click the icon, the website is loaded into Microsoft Edge.
With a fine adjustment of 20H2, you can check the number of tabs on the open site by adjusting the cursor on the icon with the Microsoft Edge loaded.
If you are not good at tab management like the author, at least you can avoid a state of duplicate tabs like a mountain.
In the case of a domain that encourages you to open many tabs, you can display those previews at once and jump to a specific site that is open.
4.Select a new color for the start menu and refresh
In Windows version 20H2, the start menu will adopt either a bright theme or a dark theme for the app and tile.
This is a major difference from the previous version, which used accent colors as a background color such as an application icon.In the previous version, depending on the selected color, it did not always look beautiful.
As usual, move to "Settings> Personal Setting> Color" and switch between the bright mode of Windows 10 and the dark mode.
Scroll down to select an accent color, or ask Windows 10 to judge from the wallpaper.
Then, check the "Show accent color in the following location" check box and use the color for the start menu, title bar or border.
5.Switch the default web browser
Windows 10 version 20H2 is worth trying the chromium version of the Microsoft Edge that replaced Edge.If you're not interested in Edge, it's still OK.
However, it is better to make sure that the system is set to use your favorite browser. It's a story if the browser hasn't been persistent every time it starts up.
Click the start menu, enter the "Default App", start the setting menu, and scroll down until the "Web Browser" option is displayed.
Then, choose the Edge or other browser you are using.(If your choice is the latter, and if you can choose it properly, Microsoft did not do it.)
6.Adjust the refresh rate of the monitor
Assuming that your desktop monitor can support a higher refresh rate (spoilers: probably not unless it's a game monitor), Windows 10 version 20H2 makes fine adjustments a little easier.
Go to "Settings> System> Display", scroll down, and click "Detailed Display".
In this window, you can set a refresh rate of the monitor to any value.Let's raise it to the upper limit that can be supported by the monitor.
