This work is the third installment of the Japanese 2D action series on the theme of fireworks.The protagonist of the apprentice fireworks master, Hanabi, goes on an adventure to revive the "Summer Festival", which has been suspended for a long time.Unlike the previous work, it is also characterized by the "Hanafuda Challenge", which collects flower bills in a stage where Hanabi is disposable or automatically generated.

"Hanabi of the Summer Festival" is being distributed for 2,050 yen.

NOKOYAMAAlong with the song production "Oh oh" and the advisor "Unfortunately Usagi", we are producing a steam game for the country, and this work will be the fourth game in the circle.

――When this work, how did you start?

NOKOYAMA 2019 has been verifying the feasibility of new technologies to generate 2D action games courses randomly, and due to the prospect of realization, we started the "Hanavy 3 (provisional)" project, and in March 2020.We conducted crowdfunding for development costs.

The development of the game was not from zero, but it started from the place to remodel the previous work, Hanabi, so it was not particularly stumbled.

――Please tell us the characteristics of this work.

NOKOYAMA First of all, I would like to explain the features of the "Hanabi" series.Hanabi can be used not only for attacks, but also for breaking things and pressing switches.You can fly in the sky by spraying your hand -held snaving downward.

The "Hanabi" series is also a big feature of pop atmosphere, catchy BGM, and cute characters.While Hanabi and other ally characters are animals, the motifs are based on moisture, such as mold and rain clouds (because fireworks are not good if fireworks are used).

By the way, this work "Hanabi of the Summer Festival" is the third work of the "Hanabi" series, and is set in a world that makes you feel more Japanese than the previous work.There is also a major change in the system, making it a structure that allows you to encounter new Hanabi one after another compared to past works.In addition, a mini -game called "Hanafuda Challenge" has been added to collect flower bills on a course that is generated randomly as a gold policy factor, but it is so fun that you can play alone.

――Are there any works influenced by this work?

NOKOYAMA's "Super Mario Odyssey" is really perfect, including trailers, and is a bible for games in me.The world view of the world of "Hanabi" is made by chemical reactions of two or more elements, but I think this is also influenced by the Super Mario Odyssey method.

The 2D action is strongly influenced by "Yoshi Island".There is no dash button, and the jump is determined by the length of pressing the button.

Regarding Hanabiment, I am conscious of "Ratchet & Crank" and "Cave Story".

――Was it affected by the development of the new Coronavirus?

The Nokoyama circle was originally online, so it didn't have a direct effect.
